The Cotton Lane U-Pick Experience

For over 17 years, Cotton Lane Citrus has welcomed families to our ranch in Surprise, Arizona, as the area’s first and premier U-Pick grove. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, we offer an authentic farm experience with easy-to-access trees, including our signature spliced trees that uniquely grow both navel oranges and grapefruits on the same branch. Visitors can pick a wide variety of sun-ripened fruit, including navel oranges, lemons, tangerines, tangelos, pamelos, and white, pink, and red grapefruits, alongside our pure raw honey harvested on-site year-round.

We make your visit seamless by supplying everything you need for the harvest, including fruit bags, long-reach pickers, and wagons to carry your haul back to your vehicle. Fruit bags are priced at $25.00 for a 15 lb bag and $40.00 for a 50 lb bag. To show our gratitude to the community, we offer a $5.00 discount per bag to military veterans, first responders (police, firefighters, paramedics), and educators with ID. For guests who are physically unable to pick, our friendly staff will gladly harvest a bag for an additional $5.00.

Visiting our peaceful grove is designed to be a memorable outing for the whole family. Leashed dogs are always welcome to join you along the pathways, photos are highly encouraged, and we recommend bringing a pair of gloves for comfortable picking. Our commitment to the community also continues well past the harvest season: every year after our U-Pick season concludes, we gather and donate over 100,000 pounds of remaining fruit to St. Mary’s Food Bank to help feed local families across the Valley.
